Techniki komputerowe w zarządzaniu jakością - analiza badań
The increase in using the computer techniques in management within last several dozen years was caused by a series of reasons which occurred simultaneously. All the reasons that created the present condition of computerizing in management can be divided into two groups. The first group includes technical reasons which are connected with development of both hardware and software. Due to technical development sop histicated and expensive computers used by calculation centers became common and are now comparatively cheap and small. At present computers are used everywhere, both in enterprises and in households. An increased number of files and standardization of all activities can be effective only provided that there is appropriate managing of documentation. We have to ensure an adequate flow of files to avoid the negative growth of bureaucracy and the slowing down of decision making processes in a company. It is necessary to manage the documentation in such a way that it is most efficiently used. In the presented article authors show the most important problems that appear in companies willing to computerize the processes of quality management in Poland. Since the importance of the problem connected with lack of qualified staff is decreasing steadily big expenses and subjective factors related to reluctance of workers and managers to implement new solutions seem to be essential. Polish enterprises and, on the macro-economic scale, also Polish government must find the way to solve the problems. The following should be numbered among the most important activities that have to be undertaken to accelerate quality management computerizing in Poland: - lowering the bank interest rates, -. implementing the preferential credits for enterprises, - tax exceptions (especially for small companies), - reducing the duty on hardware and software, restructuring the outdated industrial lines, - proper managing of human resources to limit reluctance towards changes. The application of computer techniques in quality management is the fact in Poland but the scale of using them is not wide. Computer aiding is mostly used by big companies operating in industry whereas small organizations especially the ones which belong to the service sector use such modern informatics means much more rarely. In the forthcoming years the application of computer techniques in quality management will surely be rising both in industry and in services. The carried out studies point out that the distance within these groups of companies should be decreasing. In connection with the integration of Polish economy with the European Union economy Polish enterprises should considerably increase the application of computer systems in order to modernize their management systems and adapt them to world standards. However, considering the difficult financial situation of many companies it seems not possible without the appropriate help of the stale organizations connected with preferential credits, tax allowances and the like. Making an appropriate use of welfare funds which Poland will be granted after joining the European Union in 2004 would also be advantageous.
