Preliminary studies of precise positioning of a moving object using GPS RTK

The Institute of Geodesy began a cooperation with the Shipyard of Gdansk in the field of studies of the ship hull deformations during the process of launching. Some introductory remarks concerning the process of ship launching open the paper . In this context we explain what will be the subject of our studies. Up to now, two GPS experiments, aiming at checking out. Both of them are shortly presented in the paper.
