Work-Package 5 of the CERGOP-2/Environment: GPD data analysis and the definition of reference frames. Activity report April 2004 - September 2004

The main objective of WP5 is definition, mathematical modeling and practical realization of geocentric reference frame suitable for three-dimensional geokinematical monitoring and strain analysis with millimeter precision in the region of Central Europe (Fejes and Pesec, 2003). The reference frame for all CERGOP-2/Enironment related activities is based on permanent GPS observations in the region of Central Europe. For this purpose a network comprising 39 stations (status in September 2004) is regularly processed at Slovak University of Technology. Network configuration is in Fig.l. The main attributes of processing are described in (Hefty, 2004 and Hefty et al., 2004).
