The Universityof Glasgow RPV system as a research and education tool

The Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Glasgow has acquired two remotely piloted vehicles (RPVS) from the Czech Republic which although originally designed for military uses are being modified for research use as a flying laboratory "CONDOR". The modifications required to the basic air frame have also been the subjects of some joint fourth year design projects. As there are no existing requirements guiding the design of RPV s the design projects could cover the whole range of design from defining and justifying design requirements to producing a practical and costed design.
