Geodezyjno-geotechniczna identyfikacja układu odniesienia w pomiarach inklinometrycznych

As engineermg practice shows there is no alternative for inclinometer measurements at investigations of soil horizontal displacements Methods and results of theorethical studies and field experiments presented in the paper let to evaluate a real survey accuracy of that tool. From the one hand the paper sums up the author's both laboratory and long-term field experience from significant geotechnical projects carried out in south regions of Poland. From the other shows how important is the problem of identification of reference system for reliability of inclinometer measurements. The authors' investigations shows that algorithms of processing of field data used in engineering practice in many cases provide wrong solutions. What is wrong in these procedures has been explained and correct procedure of data analysis has been presented. The method has been completed by some practical recommendations what should be done to receive reliable finał results.
