Przestrzenne zróżnicowanie współczynników zmienności opadów atmosferycznych na obszarze Polski
In the course of this paper, the spatial variability of Polands coefficient of precipitation has been estimated. The estimates were made during each month and season of the year, the period of vegetation was also taken into account. The estimates were made over a period of 25 years (1974-1988). The annual average of the coefficient of precipitation variability (for annual sums) makes clear that our climate is becoming more and more unstable. The highest coefficient of variability of precipitation is characteristic feature of November and December. The Carpathian Mountains have the lowest coefficient of precipitation variability. This is an advantage of our climate due to the fact there is little likelihood of floods appearing in the area.
