Projekt Smartfreight jako przykład racjonalizacji transportu towarowego na obszarach przyportowych

Celem artykułu jest omówienie problematyki związanej z transportem towarowym w obszarach przyportowych, które często należą do silnie zurbanizowanych części miast. Analizie poddane zostały istniejące zastosowania telematyczne dla transportu miejskiego w Trójmieście oraz możliwości ich wykorzystania dla rozładowania stref przyportowych od transportu towarowego. Omówiono europejski projekt Smartfreight oraz wskazano rozwiązania, mające na celu ograniczenie kongestii.

The aim of the study is to discuss issues related to the freight transport in harbor neighboring areas, which often belongs to highly urbanized parts of cities. Current telematics devices for urban transport in Tri-city have been analyzed. Is it possible to use them to improve freight transport on this area? The European project Smartfreight has been discussed and the solutions to reduce congestion have been presented.
