XX Europejska Wyprawa Mostowa Gruzja - Armenia 2014

XX jubileuszowa Wyprawa Mostowa Gruzja – Armenia 2014 odbyła się w dniach od 5 do 20 lipca 2014 r. Zaliczono ją do tzw. wypraw europejskich, pomimo że oba wymienione kraje leżą już w Azji, za Wielkim Kaukazem wyznaczającym granicę między Europą i Azją.

The 20th Bridge Expedition Georgia - Armenia 2014 was held from 5 to 20 July 2014. The trip agenda was very demanding; it covered seven days in Georgia, the same number of days in Armenia, two days were spent on accessing the target countries. As usual, it consisted of a technical part (bridge issues] - approx. 30%, tourist part - approx. 50% and social part - approx. 20%. In total, we visited 42 bridges, of which approx. 40% were notable modern buildings, 10% - historic buildings, and 50% - typical objects, similar to the Polish infrastructure of the 70s of the twentieth century.
