Wpływ europejskiego programu CASCADE na jakość dozorowania w ruchu lotniczym

Europejski program wdrażania nowych technologii w zakresie dozorowania CASCADE został stworzony przez EUROCONTROL w 2004 roku do koordynacji implementacji początkowych aplikacji automatycznego dozorowania z rozgłaszaniem (ADS – B – Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast) oraz systemu hiperbolicznego (WAM – Wide Area Multilateration) w Europie, np. w Czechach czy Tasmanii. Celem artykułu jest określenie wpływu takiego programu na rozwój infrastruktury, a co za tym idzie – na jakość dozorowania w ruchu lotniczym. Przedstawiono także regulacje prawne, które określają zakres funkcjonalności programu. Wykorzystano literaturę przedmiotu oraz normy i zarządzenia.

European program for the implementation of new technologies in surveillance CASCADE has been developed by EUROCONTROL in 2004 to coordinate the implementation of the initial applications of automatic dependent surveillance - broadcast (ADS - B) and the hyperbolic system (WAM) in Europe. This article aims to determine the effect of such a program for infrastructure development, and as a result - the quality of the air traffic surveillance. Presented as well were some legal regulations, which define the functionality of the program. Literature of the subject, norms and regulations were used.
