Use of LabVIEW software for electromagnetic calculation of induction motors

The possibilities of use of LabVIEW software for electromagnetic calculations of induction motors were presented in the article. It also includes the most important dependencies describing electromagnetic parameters for the motors in question together with the used calculation algorithm. The application used for electromagnetic calculations of wound-rotor induction motors with drop-shaped groves was developed and described in detail. On the basis of the presented algorithm implemented in LabVIEW environment of graphic programming, the parameters of magnetic circuit for three-phase motor with rated power of 2.2 kW were determined.
