Regionalizm w teorii i praktyce architektonicznej

Referat traktuje o rozwoju historycznym postaw regionalizujących. Omówiono i porównano różne, genetycznie powiązane (choć nieraz sprzeczne) tendencje określane terminami: styl narodowy, regionalizm, regionalizm krytyczny, neoregionalizm, nowy regionalizm, wernakularyzm, neowernakularyzm, architektura oporu, architektura swojska, rodzima, wiejska, ludowa, styl lokalny, prowincjonalizm.

A variety of regional and vernacular tendencies in architecture are presented in the paper, with a focus on meanings of notions such as national style, regional style, critical regionalism, neo-regionalism, new regionalism, vernacularism, neo-vernacularism, architecture of resistance, country architecture, folk architecture, local style, etc. The terms are discussed with relation to the specifically Polish semantic confusion and incompatibility with universal nomenclature. Historical aspects are mentioned.
