Na przestrzeni ostatnich kilkunastu lat można obserwować stały rozwój sieci dróg szybkiego ruchu w Polsce. Procesowi temu towarzyszy wypracowanie i wdrożenie nowych standardów projektowania i realizacji instalacji oświetlenia drogowego. Standardy te opierają się na precyzyjnych wymaganiach norm oświetleniowych oraz wymogach prawa energetycznego obowiązującego w kraju. Wraz ze wzrostem liczby instalacji oświetleniowych coraz większe znaczenie ma koszt zakupu energii elektrycznej niezbędnej do ich prawidłowego funkcjonowania. Dlatego dużą uwagę przy projektowaniu i eksploatacji oświetlenia drogowego przywiązuje się do takich cech jak możliwość sterowania pracą instalacji oraz jej efektywność energetyczna.
Over the last dozen or so years, we can observe the constant development of the expressway network in Poland. This process is accompanied by the development of new standards for the design and implementation of road lighting installations. These standards are based on precise requirements of lighting standards and the requirements of energy law in force in Poland. As the number of lighting installations increases, the cost of purchasing the energy necessary for their proper functioning becomes more and more important. Therefore, when designing and operating road lighting, great attention is paid to features such as the ability to control the operation of the installation and its energy efficiency. The operation of existing lighting installations allows for an analysis of their operation, which indicates the most common problems and errors in their operation. By performing acceptance tests of newly commissioned lighting installations, you can evaluate them, compare the obtained results with the design assumptions, and indicate additional actions necessary to increase the efficiency of the installation. The article presents the process of creating modern road lighting and methods of optimal operation taking into account the costs of electricity consumption.
