Innowacyjny sposób wykorzystania modeli GIS dla potrzeb zarządzania eksploatacją systemu zaopatrzenia w wodę

Artykuł opisuje wyniki badań prezentujących sposób wykorzystania narzędzi klasy GIS dla potrzeb wspomagania działań związanych z eksploatacją systemu zaopatrzenia w wodę. W pracy scharakteryzowano główne problemy eksploatacyjne dotyczące tego systemu. Na tej podstawie przedstawiono model obsługi zdarzeń eksploatacyjnych występujących w omawianym typie systemu sieciowego, wskazując w nim w szczególności etapy, dla których istotna jest informacja odniesiona do lokalizacji obiektów technicznych w terenie. Uzupełnieniem opracowanego modelu jest prezentacja sposobu wykorzystania zbudowanych przez autora map tematycznych GIS dla potrzeb planowania oraz realizacji prac obsługowych i naprawczych.

This paper describes the results of studies on the use of GIS tools for the supporting of activities related to the maintenance of the water supply system. Firstly the main maintenance problems appearing in the system has been characterized in the paper. On this basis the model of operational events handling, occurring in this kind of technical system, has been described. Author highlighted all stages in the model that demand information related to the location of the technical facilities in the terrain. This model is complemented by set of thematic layers created in GIS, which are useful during planning and realization of maintenance and repair works.
