The subject of the study was a continuously variable belt transmission with a prototype control system which will be used in a hybrid passenger car. The research was designed to create an algorithm that makes settings of the ratio regulator settings dependent on the operating point because of nonlinear nature of the control object. The results of the study showed that the transient functions of the whole range of work were similar.
