W artykule podjęto próbę spojrzenia na powyższe kwestie z perspektywy ekonomii. Celem publikacji jest przedstawienie i analiza podstawowych atrybutów świadczeń ekosystemu jako dobra ekonomicznego. Należą do nich przeznaczenie (funkcje), własność i Sposób korzystania ze świadczeń ekosystemu oraz i sposób wyrażania wartości tych świadczeń i ich dystrybucja.

The aim of the article is to present and analyze the basic attributes of ecosystem services as aneconomic good. From an economic point of view, ecosystem services are the fulñllment, by the ecosystem/environment, of a service function (costs and benefits transfer) as well as a state function (creating conditions foractivity). Environmental goods have the features of public goods. The property rights of ecosystem services are not defined unequivocally. The market will not establish the value of ecosystem services. The distribution of benefitis n exploitation of ecosystem services requires co-operation of the system service users.
