W każdy podsystemie jest miejsce na planowanie i organizacje, którego celem jest optymalizacja przepływu dóbr i osób oraz ograniczenie ich kosztów, co jest nadrzędnym celem logistyki. There is a close relationship between transport and logistics, which emphasizes the role of transport as a fundamental element of the logistics system. Taking to consideration the concept of logistics system, by which is meant the issues connected with the movement of goods and people and assigned to this issue flow of information, the concept of logistics is definitely the most extensive, including, among others, subsystems such as storage, freight forwarding and physical transport. In each subsystem, there is a place for planning and organizations whose goal is to optimize the flow of goods and people and limiting their costs, which is the primary objective of the logistics. The article analyzes the development of means of transport as a fundamental element of the transport system.
