The Simulation of the Work of the Automatic Propulsion Steering System in the Zlin 143LSi Aircraft
The article discusses the manner of controlling the propulsion system in the Zlin 143LSi aircraft, which is equipped with a piston engine, which drives the variable-pitch propeller. All the operating procedures are conducted manually by the pilot in compliance with the flight manual. The controller is designed to automatically steer the propulsion system. The aim of the controller is to determine the propeller rotational speed and the recommended angle of attack. In order to check the correct operation of the controller, it was subjected to a simulation, in which the set values of the control signals correspond to the actual flight conditions. The article presents the analysis of the simulation findings and the resulting conclusions.
