Badania zachowań transportowych w miastach z wykorzystaniem Internetu

Zwiększająca się intensywnie liczba użytkowników Internetu, szczególnie w obszarach zurbanizowanych, zachęca do wykorzystania potencjału tego instrumentu również w zakresie badań zachowań transportowych. W związku z tym, w artykule podjęto próbę oceny możliwości wykorzystania technik internetowych w prowadzeniu tego typu badań oraz przedstawiono wyniki badania zachowań transportowych mieszkańców miast polskich. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w miesiącach lipiec-sierpień 2013 r. na próbie 1022 Internautów podróżujących po największych miastach w Polsce. Założeniem prowadzonych badań było pozyskanie informacji na temat sposobów realizacji podróży w mieście oraz głównych powodów dokonywanych wyborów transportowych. Ich rozpoznanie służyć może kreowaniu zrównoważonych zachowań transportowych. W tym celu w artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań internetowych w zakresie podziału zadań przewozowych w miastach, a także powody wyboru publicznego transportu zbiorowego oraz czynniki mogące mieć wpływ na rezygnację z korzystania z transportu indywidualnego.

The intensively increasing number of Internet users, particularly in urban areas, encourage to exploit the possibilities of this instrument also in travel behavior research. Therefore, this article attempts to assess the possibility of using Web technologies in conducting this type of research. Additionally, the selected results of travel behavior investigation were presented. The research was conducted in the months of July-August 2013 on a sample of 1,022 Internet users travelling around the largest cities in Poland. The goal of the research was to obtain information about ways of travelling together with the indication of the main reasons for the transport mode choices. This recognition may serve in creation of sustainable travel behaviors. For this goal, the article presents the results of research in the field of modal split in the cities, as well as the reasons for inhabitants’ modal choice and the factors that may affect the abandonment of private transport usage.
