Energy efficient control of permanent magnets synchronous motor

A model of the motor, that takes into account core losses and copper losses, has been presented. The relation between rotor speed and both types of losses has been established on the basis of equivalent circuit and dynamic equations. Gained knowledge has been used to proposed energy-optimal vector control strategy with non-zero current in direct axis. Simulation results confirmed the validity of the applied solution for fan applications.
