Design and Calculation of ceiling radiant cooling systems
This paper describes the design and conditions in the design of ceiling cooling in buildings. Advantages of radiant cooling/heating systems are so significant that in the future it is expected that the radiant ceiling systems are designed more. The paper will focus on the ceiling cooling in buildings and its calculation. The fundamental difference from classical conditioning is a way cool ceiling cools rooms of the house. Classical conditioning cools rooms with cooled air, which is a need to house large amounts of cold air at high speed, which is the biggest shortcoming of classical conditioning. In contrast, radiant ceiling cooling, the house is cooled by radiation cooling part, and partly with cold air which cools the cooling water circulating in pipes built in the ceiling. An important aspect of energy consumption is, therefore, the cost of cooling the house, where the power needed for cooling of the house will be considerably lower. Cooling ceilings consume energy only to drive the pump, which propels us into the coolant heat exchanger and circulation pump to circulate water in the ceiling. Even from this comparison are based cooling ceilings, modern and progressive as an alternative.
