Reduction and enlargement of the detail builds a dialog or even sometimes a real quarrel with the conventions and habits. In this way a detail as a fragment of a build structure is the real measure of its excellence - such thesis is used as the starting point to consider the role of a detail in architecture in the building's life cycle.
