Piractwo morskie - ogólnoświatowy problem

Wzrastająca liczba aktów piractwa w rejonie Zatoki Adeńskiej, wodach wokół Nigerii i Somalii sprawia, że koszty generowane przez te pozaprawne formy działalności na morzu systematycznie wzrastają. Jednak proceder ten obecny jest również w innych regionach świata. Autorzy zaprezentowali charakterystykę działań piratów w różnych regionach świata. Każdy z tych regionów cechują odmienne sposoby i metody działań piratów. W artykule zawarto również ogólną charakterystykę działań podjętych przez społeczność międzynarodową dla minimalizacji tego zagrożenia.

The growing number of acts of piracy in the Gulf of Aden, the waters around Nigeria and Somalia, cause that costs generated by these non-legislative activities at sea systematically rises. However, the problem is also present in other regions of the world. Authors presented characteristics of pirates’ activities in different regions of the world. Each of these regions have different ways and methods of action of pirates. In the article there are also general characteristics of the actions undertaken by the international community to minimize this risk.
