A communication centre, an auxiliary communications centre and stationary communication centre are deployed in tactical actions on a brigade level. The basic communication centre in a brigade is a command post communication centre. Deploying an auxiliary communications centre increases the potential of communication lines, their service life and effectiveness of the communications network and thus the stability of brigade command. Extemporaneously created stationary communications centre has also an impact on durability and continuity of the command. An essential role to ensure reliable communications is played by communications means and organisation of communication network used for this purpose. The analogue communications equipment, currently used to build communications network does not completely comply with the requirements, Therefore a great number of communications equipment is deployed at the command post and this influenced the organisational-functional and technical structure of the communication centre.
