W trosce o jakość zebranych ziemniaków wprowadzane są technologie mające ograniczyć uszkadzanie bulw podczas, zbioru. Dla gleb zakamienionych i zbrylających się, technologia pasowego odkamieniania, przy produkcji sadzeniaków i ziemniaków na specjalne cele spożywcze - uprawa zagonowa, a w celu ograniczenia uszkodzeń- zbiór 2-fazowy. Omówiono zalety technologii, ich wady i ograniczenia zastosowania. Proponowane technologie dają wzrost wartości plonu handlowego o kilka, kilkanaście procent.

In consideration of the quality of harvested potato tubers the changes in production methods are introduced with the aim to reduce the tuber damage during harvesting. For stony and cloddy soils the technology of stripe de-stoning was proposed. in plant potato and potato for canning production- the technology of planting in beds and for reducing tuber damages - the two-phase method of harvest was proposed The advantages, drawbacks and limitations if introduction of these technologies were presented. The proposed technologies give from several to a dozen or so percent increase of the market value of potato yield.
