The article shows conditions and requirements that have to be met by modern air force so that they could effectively operate in national security system. Referring to the changes that have occurred in the national and international security environment - after the collapse of bipolar balance of power - the authors present air force tasks that should be done for benefit of the national security system, by dividing them for tasks at the time of peace, crisis and war. Against this background, the author of the article refer to the structures and concepts of the air force implementation in future operation supporting national security system.
