Selektywna zbiórka odpadów komunalnych na przykładzie wybranej gminy

Dbałość o środowisko zgodnie z zasadami zrównoważonego rozwoju wprowadza możliwość i potrzebę racjonalnego gospodarowania odpadami. Wśród ogromnej ilości rożnego rodzaju odpadów, przedmiotem szczególnego zainteresowania logistyki odpadów są odpady komunalne, w tym odpady zebrane w wyniku selektywnej zbiórki. Zainteresowanie tą problematyką w ostatnim czasie rośnie. Jest to efekt zmiany ustawy o odpadach i potrzeby pozyskiwania ze strumienia odpadów komunalnych coraz większych ilości odpadów poszczególnych grup w ramach recyklingu surowcowego. W pracy przedstawiono ocenę systemu selektywnej zbiórki odpadów komunalnych w jednej z gmin województwa łódzkiego na przestrzeni lat 2009-2011. Wskazano na zagrożenia związane z koniecznością osiągnięcia odpowiednich poziomów zbiórki dla poszczególnych grup odpadów w perspektywie zmian jakie miały nastąpić w wyniku nowelizacji ustawy o odpadach.

Care for the environment in accordance with the principles of sustainable development introduces the possibility and the need for rational management of waste. Among the large number of different kinds of waste, municipal waste, including waste collected during the selective collection are of particular interest. Interest in this issue is increasing in recent years. This is a result of changes to the Act on waste and the need to acquire from the municipal waste stream increasing amounts of particular groups of waste within the raw material recycling. The paper presents the evaluation of a system of selective collection of municipal waste in one of the municipalities of Lodzkie Voivodship for the years 2009-2011. The article pointed out the risks associated with the need to achieve appropriate levels of collection of waste for each group in the perspective of the changes that took place as a result of amendments to the Act on waste.
