The reasons for lack of excitation in self-excited synchronous generators with brushless exciter

The main reasons for lack of excitation in self-excited synchronous generators with projecting poles are discussed in the present paper. Generator excitation occurs in a brushless generator, where initiation of excitation takes place as a result of the existence of residual magnetism in the magnetic circuit of the exciter. The series of numerical calculations were realised. The evaluation of reasons for lack of excitation was carried out as the results of this study. The conditions of the elimination of these reasons were established.

W artykule przedstawiono przyczyny niewzbudzania się samowzbudnych prądnic synchronicznych z wystającymi biegunami. Wzbudzenie prądnicy odbywa się z bezszczotkowej wzbudnicy, w której inicjacja wzbudzenia odbywa się wskutek istnienia magnetyzmu szczątkowego w obwodzie magnetycznym wzbudnicy. Wykonano szereg obliczeń numerycznych, w rezultacie których dokonano oceny przyczyn niewzbudzania się prądnic i ustalono warunki likwidacji tych przyczyn.
