Co ważne, praktycznie wszystkie te technologie w większym lub mniejszym stopniu korzystają właśnie z BIM. I tak jak gwałtowna komputeryzacja w latach osiemdziesiątych XX wieku rozpoczęła erę ekspansji zawodów informatycznych, tak rewolucja BIM będzie w najbliższych latach wpływała na zawody związane z budownictwem.

When observing the enormous changes that have been made by BIM technology in our global construction industry, it is worth noting the impact of this process on the labour market, also linked to the bridge construction. Modern technologies entering the construction industry, such as 3D printing, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Internet of Things, remotely controlled or autonomous construction machinery, or even a cloud of data, require new skills. This applies to all participants in the construction process, not just designers, as was the case with implementing CAD techniques. Importantly, practically all of these technologies need BIM more or less. And as rapid computerization in the 1980s began an era of expansion in the IT profession, so the BIM revolution in the coming years will affect the construction profession.
