СТАНОВЛЕННЯ НАЦІОНАЛЬНОЇ ІДЕНТИЧНОСТІ НАСЕЛЕННЯ ЗАКАРПАТТЯ В КІНЦІ ХІХ. – ПОЧАТКУ ХХ. CT

The study analyses the development of national identity of the Trans-Carpathian population. The author describes the discussion among Trans-Carpathian intellectuals about the national identity. The refusal from Russophilism by the part of intellectuals led to the development of “narodovetskyy” movement. The author explains this process as a stage before development of Ukrainophile movement. The attention is paid to the development of Russian national identity and Ukrainian national identity in the end of the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century.
