ZÁKROKY ČETNICTVA PŘI STÁVKÁCH A DEMONSTRACÍCH NA SLOVENSKU V OBDOBÍ VELKÉ HOSPODÁŘSKÉ KRIZE

The study analyses the period gendarmerie reports about interventions against demonstrations in Slovakia in the first half of the 1930’s. The research focuses on the strategies of the gendarmerie as well as the “order violators”, as well as the cooperation of the riot police and public administration. The text also assesses the rate of compliance of the gendarmerie practice with the theoretical regulations and deals with the evaluation of the interventions by the gendarmerie governing units.
