Geotourist products of the Sudetes Mountains as unique offers of the international region

Geotourism is a new form of tourism associated with geovalues and aesthetic experience. The Sudetes Mountain region has a large geotourist potential because of being the most disparate geological structure in Poland. It is essential to realize a complete diagnosis of the geotourist potential within this region. Different kinds of operations were created in the region: associations, educational footpaths, underground paths, maps, guides, educational centres, and geoparks. The aim of this paper is to present the development of geotourism in the Sudetes Mountains and the initiatives which can bring an international cluster of tourist products along the Polish- Czech borderland.
