Security and strategic studies at FSS MU in the view of their graduates

The paper is focused on evaluation of the study programme Security and Strategic studies at Masaryk University from alumni point of view. The employability of alumni, especially in security sector, is the key factor of the conducted survey. To obtain relevant data was used a questionnaire survey among graduates of study. Alumni reflection and confrontation with labour market demands is necessary the source of the quality evaluation of the study programme. Graduates have a good position in the labour market, their competitiveness is based on acquired knowledge, skills and abilities mostly due their studies. From obtained data is an obvious low rate of unemployment. In principle it proved to meet the expectations, with which the Security studies at MU was founded. Research study also outlined some possible starting points for further development.
