Atrakcyjność regionu Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej dla rozwoju globalnego rynku offshoringu

The aim of this article is to examine the issue of offshoring in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. The paper presents the most important factors affecting the attractiveness of this part of Europe for the global offshoring market. Great emphasis is placed on the issue of labor costs. The author argues that present times show that no state characterized by low costs will indefinitely remain a low input state. Increasingly vital to such factors as young professionals, cultural proximity to international customers as well as to the target group, are the location and membership in the EU’s structures, which contribute to the economic and political stability.
