The article contains a summary of the views of the revered physicists and mathematicians about the history of science, which is usually not held in high regard by the active specialist in those particular areas. Quite often, it is disregarded as an approach that is not effective and without spectacular, fast applications. I will also present some views on the general paths of the development of history of exact sciences.
