The article deals with methodological aspects of the use of multimedia teaching technology, including multimedia boards in preparation of the future preschool teachers. Smart Notebook Tools program creates considerable opportunities for the development of cognitive interests and improves the students learning quality. This article describes the experience of the use of interactive opportunities of multimedia boards for mathematical training of future professionals, presented examples of interactive tools used by the teacher. It was determined that the use of multimedia whiteboard in class allows accelerating the learning pace, increasing student’s activity, organizing training in a bright and dynamic form, encouraging students to exercise independent learning and productive activities. Multimedia tools have to perform important functions in the learning process: training – provide students with the necessary information on a particular subject; educational – educate independence in the pursuit of knowledge, in the work of electronic information; developing – develop creative thinking, acquire skills to structure, analyze, select, organize training information. According to the results of the pilot study it is determined that the first place has the reason in the study identified as self improvement (30,8 %), second place – cognitive motive (21,3 %), third – cultural and social motives (20,3 %), the fourth – communicative motive (16,3 %), the fifth – the motive of benefits utilitarian (6,3 %), and in last place for professional reasons (the desire to work professionally with a computer) (5 %). Actually students are seeking to expand their knowledge and obtain new to full operation in the information society. “Information competence” should be an integral component of professiogram of any teacher; computer literacy now is looking as a necessary element of any specialist’s education. All educators provide as much information to the younger generation as possible, because they do not only learn the modern multimedia teaching tools, but also must be able pedagogically and methodologically correctly apply them to their professional activities. Thus, future research is to enhance the experience with interactive Smart Board features in the preparation future teachers in preschool education and readiness formation, apply these technologies in their own careers.
