The text includes a report from The XX Jubilee Scientific Congress of the National Seminar of Higher Education, which took place in Międzyzdroje, 30-31.05.2011. Congress was held under the theme: Pedagogy of Higher Education Towards Tradition and Modernity. The authors describe the main topics discussed during the plenary sessions and two problem groups: between the community and the struggle for power and the game of interests and academic training towards the contrary requirements.
