Eduard Tregler

The paper is based on the topic of the dissertation thesis – Eduard Tregler – a personality in the history of organ music and education. The basis of this thesis is Tregler’s educational work. Eduard Tregler (1868–1932) is introduced not only as a concert organist and music composer, but also as a pedagogue of the organ school at the conservatoire in Brno. From 1913 to 1932 Tregler educated a lot of organists there and had a major influence on the contemporary generation of Brno organists.
