Duchowy wymiar myśli i życia Stefana Kunowskiego

The aim of the article is to explore the concept of spirituality in the thought and life of Stefan Kunowski. This goal is achieved by briefly outlining spirituality in the layered theory of human development, exposing the development of the spiritual layer and the attributes of spirituality, which is connected with the transpersonal lev-el of spiritual development (Wilber, 1980) and educational functions, shown in the perspective of the initiare-christianisare function (Kunowski, 2000a, p. 251). Despite the fact that both authors present a different ontological and axiological perspective, the understanding of the development of spirituality may correspond with each oth-er, assuming appropriate interpretative adequacy. The applied hermeneutical content analysis (Vieira & de Queiroz, 2017), concerning the secondary data analysis (Wick-ham, 2019), enabled eliciting the importance of formation of spiritual identity (Kies-ling et al., 2006), which determines the achievement of human maturity and outstand-ing creativity (Nęcka, 2003, pp. 216–218) of Kunowski, that is not only reflected in his thought and contribution to the development of Christian, Catholic and pastoral ped-agogy, but also in life, while fulfilling his vocation in accordance with the will of God.

Celem artykułu jest eksploracja pojęcia duchowości w myśli i życiu Ste-fana Kunowskiego. Cel ten realizowany jest poprzez krótkie nakreślenie duchowości w warstwicowej teorii rozwoju człowieka, z wyeksponowaniem rozwoju warstwy du-chowej i atrybutów duchowości, co ma związek z poziomem transpersonalnym roz-woju duchowego (Wilber, 1980) i funkcjami wychowawczymi, ukazanymi w optyce funkcji initiare-christianisare (Kunowski, 2000a, s. 251). Pomimo że Wilber i Kunow-ski prezentują inną perspektywę ontologiczno-aksjologiczną, to rozumienie rozwo-ju duchowości może korespondować ze sobą, przyjmując odpowiednią adekwatność interpretacyjną. Zastosowana hermeneutyczna analiza treści (Vieira i de Queiroz, 2017), sięgająca do wtórnej analizy danych (Wickham, 2019), pozwoliła wydobyć wagę kształtowania się tożsamości duchowej (Kiesling i in., 2006) warunkującej osią-gnięcie dojrzałości ludzkiej i twórczości wybitnej (Nęcka, 2003, s. 216–218) Kunow-skiego, wyrażającej się nie tylko w jego myśli, wkładzie w rozwój pedagogiki chrze-ścijańskiej, katolickiej i pastoralnej, ale także w życiu, w wypełnieniu jego powołania zgodnie z wolą Boga.
