Uchwalenie ustawy z dnia 17 grudnia 2009 r. o uregulowaniu stanu prawnego niektórych nieruchomości pozostających we władaniu Polskiego Autokefalicznego Kościoła Prawosławnego stanowi realizację dyspozycji wyrażonej w art. 49 ustawy z dnia 4 lipca 1991 r. o stosunku Państwa do Polskiego Autokefalicznego Kościoła Prawosławnego. Regulacja ta przyczynia się do zakończenia utrzymującego się od dnia wejścia w życie cytowanej ustawy z dnia 4 lipca 1991 r. stanu tymczasowości w zakresie tytułu własności i użytkowania pounickich obiektów sakralnych położonych w woj. podkarpackim i małopolskim.

The passing of the 17 December 2009 Act on regulating the legal status of some property in possession of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Poland is a materialization of the provision of Article 49 of the 4 July 1991 Act on the relationship between the State and the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Poland. The regulation in question brings to a close the provisional condition that had been maintained since the effective date of the 4 July 1991 act in the area of ownership and usufruct of the post-Uniate sacred property located in the Podkarpacie and Małoposkia regions.
