Otoczenie przyrodnicze kapliczek, figur i krzyży przydrożnych na Pogórzu Przemyskim – studium literaturowe

Characteristics of shrines and wayside crosses were presented in the article. Based on library query and preliminary field inventory of these objects (Przemysl Foothills, Fredropol borough), the description in terms of their typology and role in the landscape, including their natural surroundings, was done. Shrines, statues and wayside crosses, with the accompanying flora, are inseparable part of a natural and cultural environment. There are also witnesses of local history. Therefore, an inventory with specifying plant species, consequent protection and maintenance at the place of erection, should be provided.
