Zapisy i zalecenia wobec żon w testamentach Pawła Karola Sanguszki (1680–1750) i jego syna Hieronima Janusza (1743–1812)

The article is an analysis of the content of the two selected wills, contained in the work: Testaments of Princes Lubartowicz – Sanguszko’s family. The selection is of source texts of the years 1750-1876, compiled by Jolanta Małgorzata Marszalska and Waldemar Graczyk. Documents that are the subject of this article, have been prepared by PawełKarol Sanguszko and his son Hieronim Janusz. The analysis of the content of the wills determined relations between both princes and their left behind wives and children, as well as any legal restrictions related to the existence of the spouse after their death, for example the matter of care for the children and the widows future remarries.
