QUELQUES REMARQUES SUR LE STATUT DE LA CHRÉMATONOMASTIQUE DANS LES ÉTUDES ONOMASTIQUES

SOME OBSERVATIONS ON THE STATUS OF CHREMATONOMASTICS IN ONOMASTIC STUDIES In this paper I deal with the scientific status of chrematonomastics, a new sub-discipline of onomastics that refers to the “classical” divisions of onomastic sciences, e.g. anthroponomastics and toponomastics. At the same time, the chrematonomastics elaborates an original apparatus of analytical instruments by means of which we can study all subdivisions of chrematonymy, especially the utilitarian chrematonymy represented by such classes as: chrematonymy of marketing, social chrematonymy and ideative chrematonymy. The chrematonomastics permits to considerate the whole category of nomina propria in new perspective: in their relation to nomina appellativa, to their formal structure, to the question of their meaning and use in specific social and communicative contexts. The chrematonomastics modifies the definition of the status of proper name: it depends on the role that the name exercises when referring to the object naming and pragmatic intention of its use.
