Mieszkańcy Opola na polskim i zagranicznym rynku pracy - wyniki badań empirycznych

The situation on European, national and local labour market is still awaken public opinion and scientist interest. Therefore more and more often research which are designed to determine the activity of employment and unemployment of different groups of society is undertaken. Thus, the paper presents the results of one such study conducted in the capital of the Opole Voivodeship - Opole, which aim was to determine an employment in Poland, an employment abroad and unemployment of Opole citizens. Presented in this paper studies provide information not only about the share of employment in Poland, but also about the scale of emigration, including the people working abroad continuously and periodically. The results also showed the diversity of the employment in the country and abroad, and of unemployment between the examined group of the men and women and between residing in different districts of Opole as well.
