Tradycje Konstytucji 3 Maja w poezji powstańczej w świetle prasy 1830-1831
Artykuł oparty został na badaniach prowadzonych dla potrzeb pracy magisterskiej Tradycje Konstytucji 3 Maja w okresie Powstania Listopadowego 1830-1831 w świetle prasy powstańczej, powstałej w 1987 r. w Instytucie Historii UŁ na seminarium z historii społeczno-politycznej Polski XIX w., pod kierunkiem prof. Aliny Barszczewskiej-Krupy.
We can get many information from the press about tradition of the 3rd of May Constitution in poetry. There were published nineteen poetical compositions touching on this subject. Some of these compositions were only written to celebrate the great event of 3rd of May. Some of them described difficult period of partitions where invaders did not let to celebrate the Constitution anniversary, which was a kind of political protest. Other compositions supported some political atmosphere. These writings presented many daims like for example: punishment for traitors, routeto Lithuania, criticism of dictator actions, national harmony and some social reforms. We can say, that these compositions had publicists character. In times of uprising (1830-1831) the epoch of Great Seym became the main subject of poetical compositions. It can be explained comparing historical lots of Poles in both epoches. There were existed similar purposes to realize and difficulties to overcome in fighting for independence and freedom, as well. Summing up, in lyrical poetry of November Uprising (1830) the 3rd of May Constitution was also a symbol of all these dvil values to follow for nationals and patriots.
