Prawne podstawy udzielania pomocy publicznej dla przedsiębiorstw

State aid to enterprises, as an instrument highly disturbing competition, undergoes strict supervision in the structures of the European Union. Conditions for its availability are defined in numerous directives by the European Council and Commission. Polish legislation was to a great extend adjusted to these regulations, so Polish accession to the EU did not introduce many changes with regard to state aid. Accession, however, resulted in the necessity for direct application of the EU legislation, which means that it is not necessary or even incorrect to repeat its regulations in Polish legal acts. On the day, prior to our formal accession, Polish Parliament passed an act regarding procedures concerning state aid, which substituted, no longer necessary, act referring to the conditions of availability and supervision of state aid. The hereby article presents basic legal acts regarding state aid, which arc binding for Polish entities after 1st May 2004.
