Charakterystyka współpracy artystycznej Pawła Kochańskiego i Karola Szymanowskiego

The article presents the complexity of an artistic cooperation between Paweł Kochański and Karol Szymanowski. These two artists created works that could not have come into existence if it had not been for their mutual inspirations. In each of their works we may notice the manifestations of Szymanowski’s musical language and Kochański’s preferred instrumental techniques. The study was based on the correspondence between Szymanowski and the Kochańskis, selected fragments of critical texts referring to the reception of Szymanowski’s works performed by Kochański, as well as reviews of violinist’s skills.
