Civic Activism During the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Visegrad Countries

Celem artykułu jest przeprowadzenie analizy zrealizowanych badań empirycznych nad aktywnością obywatelską podczas pandemii COVID-19, a następnie próba interpretacji wyników badań w ujęciu analizy komparatystycznej w państwach Grupy Wyszehradzkiej. Badania opierają się na danych ankietowych zebranych w państwach Grupy Wyszehradzkiej w obszarze badawczym społeczeństwa obywatelskiego. Zgromadzone w taki sposób dane pomogły zobrazować stan faktyczny aktywności obywatelskiej podczas pandemii COVID-19 w poszczególnych państwach, kiedy to wprowadzane restrykcje i obostrzenia zmieniły świat aktywności społecznej.

The aim of this article is to analyse the empirical research conducted on civic activism during the COVID-19 pandemic and attempt to interpret the findings in terms of comparative analysis in the Visegrad countries. The study is based on survey data collected in the Visegrad Group in the research field of civil society. The data gathered in this way helped to illustrate the actual state of civic activism during the COVID-19 pandemic in individual countries, when the introduced restrictions and constraints changed the world of social activism.
