This article is of a review nature. The aspect of tacit knowledge, which is one of the types of knowledge, was mentioned. Particularly in view of the dynamic changes taking place in the field of observable reality, attention should be paid to the possibilities of promoting and developing an individual's personal resources, which in their nature is definitely tacit knowledge. In his work, the author presented the essence of knowledge, as well as the mentioned type, along with its values for the psychosocial development of an individual. He also referred to the school environment and the hidden school curriculum, which was narrow in relation to the tacit knowledge described. The article is a conclusion related to the possibility of practical exemplification of this resource in the school space by promoting it.
