La lingua della norma Covid-19 nella Confederazione Svizzera e in Canton Ticino

Questo contributo si pone l’obiettivo di mostrare i risultati di una ricerca sulla qualità linguistica della norma emanata in italiano dalla Confederazione Svizzera e dal Canton Ticino durante la recente emergenza sanitaria. Ne è emerso come in quei momenti di crisi, la produzione della Confederazione si sia allontanata dalla consueta limpida leggibilità, producendo testi che mostrano una certa pesantezza e macchinosità. Nel medesimo periodo, l’istituzione ticinese, probabilmente anche per il vantaggio di poter contare per molte questioni sulla produzione giuridica federale, ha diffuso invece testi la cui semplicità e leggibilità sono esemplari.

This contribution aims to show the results of a study conducted on the linguistic quality of the regulations issued in Italian by the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Ticino during the recent health emergency. It has emerged that during those moments of crisis, the production of the Confe-deration deviated from its usual clear readability, resulting in texts that exhibited a certain heaviness and complexity. In the same period, the Ticino institution, possibly due to the advantage of being able to rely on federal legal production for many issues, instead disseminated texts characterized by exemplary simplicity and readability.
