Polskie fantastykoznawstwo (początki)

The intention of presenting the article is bringing forth the beginning of the formation of Polish theory of the fantastic, and at the same time providing a kind of introduction to the complexity of the studies devoted to Polish theories of the fantastic. The article is focused on careful analysis of the process of the formation of Polish theory of the fantastic in the field of critical and literature studies discourses with reference made to the emergence theory with particular concern regarding variety of the so-called attractors that have a considerable impact on it. Special consideration is given to unique contribution of Artur Hutnikiewicz, a distinguished initiator of this process.

Artykuł stanowi przybliżenie początków polskiego fantastykoznawstwa, a jednocześnie pełni funkcję wprowadzenia do tomu studiów poświęconych polskiej teorii fantastyki. Scharakteryzowano w nim proces wyłaniania się polskiej teorii fantastyki w polu dyskursu krytycznego i literaturoznawczego, odwołując się do teorii emergencji i biorąc pod uwagę rozmaite wpływające na to czynniki (tzw. atraktory). Szczególną uwagę poświęcono roli Artura Hutnikiewicza jako inicjatora tego procesu.
